The challenge
Hot on the heels of travel opening up post-pandemic the Global Forwarding (GF) area of the Toll business needed to bring their team together from across the globe. With a focus on growth and to launch their 2-year business plan it was essential they collaborate on how to take their business to the next level.
What
We took the GF leaders to Penang, Malaysia for 4 days of connection, growth and celebration. It was the first time since 2019 they’d seen each other face to face and some had never met. Strict covid requirements aside (and catered for), we made the most of the opportunity by curating an inspiration packed conference with a gala awards night to close.
Why
We worked closely with the Toll team to facilitate building cross-business and cross-cultural connections using the power of collaboration to unlock exponential improvement. It was vital the team understood they are the X factor required to take things to the next level in the organisation.
How
Our approach was to get to the heart of what they needed to communicate and provide a strong single message thread we could weave throughout the entire event – taking GF to the power of x - to embed their intentions and goals.
We made the most of the enthusiasm to get back together with team building adventures, strategic and collaborative sessions, curated meet and greets, powerful (yet fun) engagement activities and a shared Penang cultural experience, all tied back to our single message.
The result?
Our absolute obsession with an integrated big idea and thoughtful, seamless event management lead to an extremely successful event. 100% attendees say we met or exceeded expectations.
