Metricon
The Whole is Greater than a Sum of its Parts
The free BuildSmart Webinar Series is an important part of their sales funnel that connect the public with Metricon’s experts. The seven 45minute webinars provide important insights into trends, information about build processes, and include episodes as diverse as being a first‑time buyer, builder or investor, dual occupancy and knock down rebuild projects, as well as instalments on coastal or acreage living.

Challenge
Develop a way to provide evergreen content for Metricon’s BuildSmart Webinar Series.
The webinars provide valuable advice for viewers, allow Metricon to profile themselves as leaders in the home building space, and to collect data and insights from those looking to build soon.
Approach
Hosted by Liz Cantor, tv presenter and someone who has firsthand experience building with metricon, these pieces introduce the audience to a variety of metricon and industry experts as well as current customers to provide advice, and answer questions.
The challenge was to future proof the series for improved longevity products or experts change and the need to consistently rerecord the webinars was proving prohibitive.
We restructured each webinar into a series of modules. Liz provided a consistent host who threw to unnamed experts on various topics. This modular approach allowed us to update graphics and only switch out a minute or two of the webinar from time to time to keep it fresh.
Through a series of shoots across three states, we captured footage to support all the different edit requirements and showcase a large range of architectural styles and customer needs.

Outcome
Over the past three years the Series has been added to, and various modules updated, while keeping a consistent look, unified tone, and up to the minute content relevance.
